These are One Love's church announcements for the month of April 2024. 1. Couples, join Pastor and First Lady Fitzpatrick on Friday evening, April 5, 2024 at 7:00pm for Marriage Matters. Marriage Matters is for couples who are newlyweds or seasoned couples. The meeting will be held at the church in the Fellowship Hall. For more information, please call 984-259-4524. See flier attached.
2. Bible Study meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. The lesson is from the "Book of Revelation''. Bible Study meets in the Fellowship Hall and the session is broadcast via ZOOM for those who cannot attend the live session. This class is free. 4. One Love's Food Distribution will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at the church. Members of the Set-up Team, the Outreach Team and volunteers are to report by 9:00am sharp to pray, get assignments and instructions. To volunteer or if you need more information, please contact Deacon Al Utley at 919-641-3515.
5. One Love will have its Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 beginning after OLCC's Food Distribution ends, at approximately 12:00pm. Volunteers are needed for a few hours to help make sure Horton Road is free of trash. To sign up to volunteer or if you need more information, please send an email to sandersdiamonte@gmail.com.
6. First Lady Fitzpatrick is inviting all ladies to join her on Friday evening, April 19th, 2024 at OLCC for the next Sisterhood of the Crown Gathering. The gathering will begin at 7:00pm. There will be potluck. Please bring an Italian food to the gathering or donate $5.00 to the gathering. Please let First Lady know if you are bringing a food item or donating money by texting her at 919-412-3601. 7. Men, One Love will have its Men’s Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 9:30am. Men are called to come together, enjoy some good food, and connect with others who share similar values. Come out and enjoy the fellowship and the delicious breakfast! 8. Join One Love for Family and Friends Day on Sunday, April 21st at the church. Come and enjoy The Word from Pastor Fitzpatrick and then enjoy a fellowship meal with the One Love's family and friends after service. The Family and Friends Fellowship begins at 11:30am. 9. The New Member Orientation Class is held every 3rd Sunday beginning at 11:30am after worship service ends. If you are a new church member and are ready to learn about One Love Christian Church, please contact Elder Dr. Dietrich McMillan at 984-259-4522 for additional information.
10. Join us at One Love for Worship Service live at the church on Sundays at 9:30 am. All are welcome to attend the live service. If you cannot join us at the church, you can also view the service on our Church App (OLCC DURHAM) or via Facebook Live or on One Love's YouTube Channel (One Love Christian Church). 11. Parents, One Love has Children's Church (One Love Academy) on every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays. On 3rd Sundays, One Love has 'Children's Spotlight' where children showcase what they have learned in Children's Church and they also get to serve alongside church leaders in various positions on that Sunday.
